Gents, thought it'd be good to coordinate who's coming to the BBQ in Melb on Saturday and what we're bringing. BYO meat all.
- Faibios is providing salad and stuff and the venue. May be bringing Hero Quest.
- Patrician is on Beer and will be bringing Munchkin (lift via Twahn?)
- annachie?? (ok for ride annachie?)
- Twahn (penciled in)
- gregory_n_white (penciled in, lift via Twahn?)

I'll be a great night and it'd be even better if Twahn shows.

Looking forward to it guys,... I'll bring some beer too (never can have too much of that) but haven't spotted in markets nearby my hotel to get meat or other items.

Yeah ok started with Warhammer Quest with Fool as Pit fighter, Annachie as Dwarf, Patrician as Barbarian, Harly K as Wizard, Tim D as Elf and me as Chaos Warrior. Then Fool , Pat and myself played Settlers of Catan. Great night great people, must do again some time. |

Sorry Oz, still recovering....there was a lot of beer, after all
Hitlist : Annachie, Fool, Faibios and Patrician....oh and a half-hoard of Gelflings brought along by Annachie for general amusement. Tim_D and Hayden lead this hoard in the distruction. Twahn didn't make it and Fool would have loved to meet the SWL founder.
Location : Faibios' Taekwondo club / fortress / nuclear fallout centre. I've seen Banks with less security. I could see this place in a movie, being stormed by legions of Ninja, with Faibios leading 'the loyal students' in defending the castle.
Food : Traditional BBQ, snags, chops, pepper steak, salad, various sauces. Quote by Fool "This is the best meal I've had in Australia so far." Testament to Faibios' cooking and a definite challenge for you Sydney-siders. Perhaps a pie and sauce at the footy will triumph?
Beer : Carlton Draught, Boags Draught and Toohey's Dry Platinum. Fool seemed to think the 6.5% Toohey's went down way too easily 
Games : The BBQ took a while, so we started off with a six-player game of Warhammer Quest. The adventurers got lost in the catacombs for a while and lost Faibios and Tim_D along the way, but the monsters were Smighted and the villagers did rejoice after eating Fool's minstrels.
Next was Settlers of Catan. The quest for Longest road was hotly contended, but Faibios had an iron grip on the Largest army. Several rule clarifications lead Patrician to wonder just how closely his friends (who had taught him to play) had read the rulebook, and Patrician had to win the game to stop any further embarrassment.
Highlights :
- The Hoard of Annachie - What can I say?
- Fool providing a decent term for us Mexicans to refer to those North of the border.....Canadians. 
- Discussions revolving around beer, namely Fool's anticipation of coming face to face with OB's homebrew
- The ride home, where Fool was introduced to the band T.I.S.M.
- Me realising that none of us bought a Camera 
But it was a fun time had by all.
