Gday everyone. We now have a procedure in place regarding how coaches are organising their matches.
First of all, everyone will notice that the Colonies now have one universal deadline. To give everyone the best chance possible, the round 3 deadline will now be 20:00 Thursday 1st of June.
Each round takes two weeks.
Games must be commenced by 20:00 Fumbbl Time on each Thursday. I expect coaches to have arranged a suitable time for the game by the end of the 1st week.
If nothing has been arranged at that point, or a coach is having
difficulties finding time to meet their opponent, a PM should be sent, as soon as possible to me, Smerbev (not Peach) explaining the difficulty. Extensions of time are
permitted but you will find that the earlier you let me know of a problem, the more likely that I can find a happy solution.
Extensions
Where an extension is asked for and reasonable circumstances
apply, I may choose to grant an extension, but will ask for the
game to be organized in advance. ie If both coaches want the game, make sure you can tell me when it will be played before asking for more time. Extensions are generally no longer than 24 hours, but I may be willing to make the odd exception.
Forfeits
Unless an PM has been sent to me by 20:00 Fumbbl time
on the Thursday game is due, a forfeit will occur (don't worry if you start the match just before the deadline, I'll be checking to make sure I don't accidently hand out the forfeit) If neither party has
communicated in this manner then both teams suffer the forfeit and -15 pts penalty (yes, it has increased from -2)
If one player has sent a PM, that player will be given the win. A coach
who forfeits two games in any given season may be excluded from the Colonies in the following season. |

I'm looking forward to seeing the Colony 1, 3rd round clash between Flogsta Zealots and Jumbo Trons. Either team could go top with a victory. |

Ive just created the 'Free Mars' Libaration Front or FMLF (pronounced - fum-luf)
http://fumbbl.com/teams/Free+Mars.html
they will prepare to liberate Phobos 150 on earth until the team is ready, or until the Tournament is about to start. |

Seeing as your cowardly Dulwich Disasters fled Blighty to escape their game against my Bearded Queens of England in the war of Britain, I think I'm going to enter them in this tournament. Your cowardice may have stopped us from becoming champions of Britain, but you'll not stop us from becoming champions of Phobos.

Quaids Eyes on Mars
A quick look at the three players showing the most potential on Mars, are these the stars of the future?......
Most Valuable Player:
She-Ra (Total Refund) 21 ssp's
She-Ra has been setting Colony Four on fire, while distracting the mostly male opposition with her outstanding beauty, she's been proving that she's not just a pretty..... face!
Top Scorer:
Mozzarella (Martian Cheeze) 5 td's
At Martian Cheeze games you will have to hold your nose! opposing players have commented that you can smell Mozzarella in the end zone before you see him.
Most Dangerous Player:
Pinky (Zombies from Mars) 5 cas
Punky (Zombies from Mars) 5 cas
Between them, Pinky and Punky have made a total of 80 blocks in their first four games and caused 10 casualties. They are striking fear into Oxie Palus!

Cas scoring system
Basicaly my flings are winning matches but as you would expect taking losses in cas, i have lost 21 points from this so far and this is after you take into account cas inflicted. As sombody pointed out to me the other day it is a lot easyer for a bashy team to get 4-5 cas a game than it is for a none bashy team to score 4-5 TD's
As flings cant do both and are lucky to get a win im kinda on the bad side of both of these things, im 3/0/2 right now and only 4th when the guy in first place is only 3/1/1 (i was the guy that beat him woot!!)
I can win matches but if cas scoring and td scoring is still in place next season when people start getting tckl and lots of block i think i will stand even less chance than this season.
Give the little guys a chance, you can even change it this season if you like |

I totally agree with Fribbler. But how would the problem be remedied? Maybe get 2 pts for a TD?
That would make the pointsystem more balanced imo. |

So, there is a chance of the 'Fribbler act' being passed on Mars at the end of the season, I think some bashy coaches may have differing opinions?? |
