I'm using the medium field - I was using the large one and really like that (I just use the coloured disks so don't care about the icons). I flagged it though because the pitch graphic didn't change when it was raining/blizzard etc so I kept forgetting about the conditions and GFI'ing in blizzards and failing pickups in the rain. I'm not 100% sure but I think whenever I joined a game and the weather was not 'perfect' I'd get a blue screen with no field at all. That problem has certainly gone away after I reverted back to the medium field.
Of course those issues are probably already documented and can be worked around but I'm too lazy to find or act on them  |

I use the medium one most of the time because on my laptop the screen-res is limited to 1024 x 768. On my other comp it isn't, but habits die hard |

I created small and large field sets of my v2 pitches to cater for the different sizes, and it's not hard to resize the ones you already use. An application like Irfanview does an excellent job of resizing pitches (using the highest quality algorithm), and for upscaled pitches, a touch of sharpening helps too.
Large field is the only size I'd use with the icons (which aren't complete as yet), otherwise I'd stick to the letters. |

large purely because of screen resolution, 1600x1200 on a 19" makes it a bit hard to make out the icons without squinting and/or gluing my forehead to the monitor.
looking forward to a complete set of large icons tho  |
