+av is pointless in this rule set unless you are on the floor all the time and possibly if you leap a lot, +ma is far better. Though if it was a double i would go for claw or block. |

SF on BGs without either block or dodge is pretty much a wasted skill.
Unless they have frenzy and wind up along the sideline... but even then... |

Not true, it stops people half dice blocking your bg quite so often and makes it far less effective. |

It doesn't stop them from throwing those blocks, it just makes you accept a push as though you had block and they rolled both down. It's of limited value in those cases anyway, SF is of limited value in this rule set in the 1st place.
I'd not take it as a 2nd skill on a BG.
If you fail to roll any doubles and make it to 51spp then fine.
The Ogres should all take PO anyway, they have the tiny bit of extra speed to not be totally out of position after using it. |
