A few weeks ago my computer fried on me and I had to reinstall everything. I've found since this has happened, I can't log into java chat anymore without zonealarm popping up this message -inside- the java chat client.

I don't receive a popup window from zonealarm saying that X program is trying to access the net and if I should allow it or not. The above is all I see. I went into ZA and tried to figure out what needs to be set but I have zero clue. This is the most recent version of ZA too. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

No idea why it didn't ask you ... but - check the "program control" settings and make sure that neither javaw.exe (I assume you are using windows) nor java.exe are blocked.

Actually that was the first thing I looked for. Everything Java related is checkmarked as good and not blocked.

Ok, looks like the newest version of the free zonealarm won't let you get in and unblock ports because they want you to buy their pro version which allows you to do it. sigh. That's total BS.
