Stunty Spinoff Series will launch with the Dawn of Blood tournament as soon as enough teams have joined. Dawn of Blood will be a TR 100 round robin with playoffs. As team transfers from [S] to [L] are no longer possible, the tournament rules were changed a bit: Big Guys may take general skills on doubles during the Dawn of Blood tournament (as is usual for stunty teams created straight into the [L] division).

As the Spinoff progresses (=as the average team TR rises), more experienced teams will be allowed to enter the group as well. There will also be multiple tournaments running at a time, so the coaches will have options on which one to join.

The Series' IRC channel is #SpinOff @ irc.fumbbl.com

I am hoping to see at least one squig and one strigoyan team as well. Smile

Now we also got a Gnoblar, Goblin Cheaters and Squigs! Yay! Smile Hopefully the other stunty races will also be represented in the tournament (although Strigs and Skinks aren't quite on par in survivability with the others).

Also, from this point on, we are working in collaboration with the ESPN. I'm going to write a wiki entry soon.

A nice distribution of races! However, we don't yet have any chaos flings, goblins, nurglings, skinks, snotlings or strigoyan...

Off-topic:
There is a bug in Ultimate FUMBBL Pack version 3.2's portraits.ini file: stunty star player portraits are not used. This will be fixed to the next version but if you want to have the star players working right away, paste these lines into the portraits.ini file, bottom of the Star Players section:

There has been a sudden change in the FUMBBL site structure, preventing the transfer of [S]tunty division teams into [L]eague division.

In practise:
1) all newcomers need to create their teams straight into the [L]eague division.
2) group members who joined before the rules change with a team which has Big Guys need to remake their Spinoff teams
3) Dawn of Blood tournament rules were changed
4) Spinoff Series' Rules were changed
5) Group page had to be generally edited
6) My earlier posts in this thread had to be edited

12 teams are in the group now. We can begin Dawn of Blood once we get to 16 - unless we get a huge rush of applicants, in which case 24 teams would be a better even number.

Races not present in the Series yet:
nurglings, skinks, snotlings and strigoyan.
