Sometimes after server or client startup the playfield is not visible. I´ve tried several options and found out, that this is the case when the weather at the start of a game is rain. All other weather results are o.k.
All programms (client, Java etc.) are up to date.
Any ideas how to fix this? |

You can either...
a. Turn off weather. Easiest possible solution.
b. Use a different field set with a Rain pitch.
c. Go to BBowl/pics/fields/ and find the folder for the pitch set you're using. Inside that folder, duplicate one of the existing fields (field_good or field_blizzard, perhaps) and rename the duplicate "field_rain.jpg" (without the quotes, naturally).
d. Find the files mentioned in c. and use an image editor to make your own version called field_rain.jpg. Then, optionally, offer to share it with others who may be using the same field set and have the same problem. |

Thx. I´ve copied "field_largegood.jpg" to "field_largerain.jpg" and now it works. Seems, that the pic for a large field "rain" is missing. |
