hi people:
i think that the coaching rate is unbalanced, like the example with in kkyishkkii Coach Rank: 182.31 ( http://fumbbl.com/~kkyishkkii ) , and the last game your coaching rate was 145.41 in this game: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1889580
one person can up about 40 point in cr in one game. this are totally unbalance. i think that christer mus revised this. thanks
your sincerely |

Well, it's just like winning (or losing) 40 casual matches in a row. This puts some weight on the FC's scale pan. |

- FC games matter
- CR does not matter [unless you're trying to get into some of Koadah's cups ]
- It makes FC matches that much more fun to watch and play
And obviously CR will get back to 'proper' walue in each individual case - as long as there is no cherry-popping involved ;> |

I hear they feed you less if your coach rating drops. |

I would consider a big drop in CR to be a blessing--It would mean that for a while, I'd get a lot of reasonable game offers. |

The problem is that once your CR rating drops 40 points from one game it's hard to get it back up. Especially since it's fact that the RNG favours high CR coaches.

Ah yes. You refer to the well distinguished 1st postulation of Spiro. |

The winner of the Cup is going to walk away with a rather high CR for quite a while.. |

cheers dony, u seem to have one hellova problem with me!
the jump in CR points is fair, anyone who has played any individual sport or other ranked game will have seen this in big events also.
take magic: the gathering, i know a lot of u play or have played this card game. u play FNM and u stand to win/lose 1-8pts per match. you play in the nationals or bigger events and u stand to win/lose 1-64pts. its all relevent, this happens to be (as has been repeated so often here in the past week) the greatest tournament in fumbbl history! its all relevent! |

I'm loving the crazy CRs. The nature of the CR calculation system means that the balance should be restored after a few months anyway. In the mean time it achieves two things:
1. Cherrypicking has just got alot harder
2. There are some awsomely fun CRs out there.
I doubt that the winner of the Cup will remain at a crazy CR for long.... they will gain almost nothing for any win they achieve but will lose a stupid amount of CR for every game they lose. |
