Every time I try to download the FFB Client it gets to about 10% and stops. Still says it's downloading but I get nothing?
My internet isn't that slow and I'm all Javaed up... any ideas? |

That doesn't make much sense - when the client is updated I get the new version in a minute. It's just not that big, even if you're on a slow connection. What operating system/browser are we talking about? |

Oh no, I wouldn't suggest overnight at all, just that it may seem to pause a bit first time. |

Running Win7, with AVG Firewall. I have Java 6. I get the litle file download but then the FFB Client never gets all the way through. |

Try to use another browser.
On my laptop if using Google Chrome or IE it simple wont download or run it
Only Firefox does the trick

One user found that using hydraIRC caused it to crash for him, but he wasn't sure why that should be. I would start by updating your video and sound drivers to make sure nothing there is causing a crash. |

this might have something to do with the (crap) chinese internet
when i lived there my connection was so damn slow and unstable... hope it got better the last 4 years
but you know, censoring so much data takes a lot of bandwith
NOTE: the FFB client crashes if it loses connection to the server |
