You play against a team whose positional are tremedous. It's tournament so an overtime is possible.
First Half: you throw a foul early in the game. Your opponent don't foul back.
It's late in half 1 and you get a chance to foul again with your DP. Do you go for it?
Or do you wait half 2 for more fouls:
to be considered:
-> Having the player out isn't a factor in half 1. e.g., we're at turn 8 of half 1.
->The opponent may have a roll to get the guy back if he's only KOed. He still has his apo too.
->Teams are of similar strength, overtime isn't excluded.
You take the chance? You wait for half 2 to foul?
What would you do? |

Depends on the target of the foul.. If it's one of my opponents key players and I got lots of assist, then I would give it a go. When in a tournament it may be a good idea to have more than 1 DP though.. |

depends on the number of players you have yourself, if its 15-16 with several dp's: yes, if its 12 with 1 dp: no. |

3 DPs yes, 2 yes if the prone player is really good, 1 no |

Yes!
Never miss a foul. Especially if the target is a good player.

If you manage to get one of those tremendous positionals down and can get enough assists to make an armor break likely, then trading a dp for a "star" is well worth it.
When I get to the end of a tourney match and my dp is still on the pitch, my opponent protected his key players well and probably outplayed/beat me... just the way I look at it. |

As others have said, factors include:
How many DPs do I have?
How many reserves do I have?
How good is the player I have the opportunity to foul?
I don't think you can give a fixed answer. Each case will depend on those and other questions. |

Pac said it perfectly. Maybe add "How good is the player with DP?" Goblin getting chucked isn't as bad as someone else.
I really think my #1 consideration would be the depth of my bench as Pac said. |

1- One only, or it would seem pretty obvious to me
2-let's say I have 13 players
3-It's a wardancer with 3 skills or BC or something alike. |

If I thought I could get away with it or I thought that I would lose without the boost then I'd definately do it..... but then I'd be fouling by at least turn 7 in case I wasnt sent off and could do it again |

Well, if it's a Bull Centaur I foul it even if I don't have DP and have negative assists.
Why didn't you say!? |

Lets say a 10spp lino vs a 51spp Dancer... Though choice really...
Edit: well you did say a 3 skill WD now that I looked... so that would mean he has 6spp? Hell I'd still foul him! |

if you had an unskilled lino that could make the foul instead, you could do that.
But I would have to say yes, foul that wardancer, if only to irritate your opponent, i always hate mine getting fouled. Fouling wardancers is like a moth drawn to the flame, it happens a lot for a reason. |

As others have said, it depends on the number of your players and the amount of DP you have. I wouldn't foul unless I had at least one more DP. Not going under 11 players is also a consideration, especially if even a successful foul will not reduce your opponent to less than 11. |
