I want to state upfront that this is just a post to gather some ideas to take to Christer for possible Fumbbl Birthday presents. I can't tell you if any of it will actually come true or be possible, but I think it would be interesting to listen to ideas and then put the ideas in a poll to have the communities' input.
So, without further ado, what are some ideas that you have or would like to see for Fumbbl's next Birthday? |

Basically, no permanent casualties. Also, no aging would be nice. Random mutations/weapons for extra wackiness.

Definately not no aging...
Some Ideas:
Random stunty player on every team!!
Every player can gfi as many times as they like but no rerolls for gfi (including sure feet)
Free Wizards
Stars 50% off
Multi Ball games
Random mutations (always fun) |

I thought 'Birthday 2009' was awesome.
Same again would work a dream for me. There was something I didn't like about the team preservation treats even at the time, let alone in hindsight. |

1-2 Random Handicaps given to each team? Can the client handle that?
Potion of Youth given to every coach that plays a game on the day. Cancels one future Aging result (can't be given to player with past aging) for one of the coach's teams.
Random Illegal Drugs (let the site determine if it is +Str or +AG - or even MA or AV) to some players on each team.
Rather than no aging, the site could do lessened aging on the day (but only for games completed on the birthday), say a -1 modifier, so no failing 6 spp roll, but 16 spp roll fails on a 2.
Same for lessened injuries rather than immunity. Eg Death = permanent injury SI (you won't know what sort till after you upload and then it will be too late to use that apoth after all hehe), permanent injury SI = SI MNG, SI-MNG = BH.
Random Traits (including Really Stupid, Bone Head, TTM and Stunty - we could see a Gobbo throw a Troll!). |

Laviak had a recap of ideas in (one of) last years threads like this. His post was:
A few fun ideas (none of which are my own, most of which have already been mentioned):
- OFAB/Thrall
- Right stuff/TTM/Really hungry
- Mutations
- Secret weapons (on a 5+ to reduce send-offs?)
- Random gobbo stars
- random extra skill (i.e. instead of mutations)
- temporarily remove existing injuries
- bonus cash (10k to each team that plays 1 or more matches?)
- runesmith (can actually be given to non-dwarf teams too) |

Only BHs for teams with less than 11 players, so you can get teams going again without playing 20 games? |

Random star player added to each side every game
Every player gets iron man each match on the birthday
For each game, a random player from each team gets +ST, another gets +AG, another get's +MV. Or make it 2 players from each team get each plus. |
