It's not a bug, you can foul and pass during a Blitz! kick-off according to the rules.
Quote: | Blitz! The defence start their drive a fraction of time before the offence is ready, catching the receiving team flat-footed. The kicking team receives a free 'bonus' turn. However, players that are in an enemy tackle zone at the beginning of this free turn may not perform an Action. The kicking team may use team re-rolls during a Blitz. If any player suffers a turnover then the bonus turn ends immediately. |

maybe he means blitz action? Ogre declares blitz action and then decides to do a ttm while running across a gobo or something? |

Your confusion may be attributed to the fact that the wording was changed between LRB4 and LRB5.
Beats me why the potential game breaker was made even more so, though. |

Flix, the rules clearly states that you are allowed to use other actions. So this will not change, it is implemented like the rules are written. |

well, the only teams that really have benefit from this are Ogres, Goblins, Halflings and Chaos Pact, who might have a Big Guy not on the LoS and a player with Right stuff. For Orcs it is rare to have a Troll not on the LoS and a goblin in the team fielded during the defense (if they have to do it, they must be desperately decimated). For Underworld it is rare not to put their troll on the LoS. A few other teams can get into the chance to benefit if they get enough inducements:
Humans (need at least 140k) are unlikely to set up for this case. Nurgle and Chaos need 290k - a large amount, but their teams' set up usually would allow to field the players and try to gain a reward from a otherwise sub par placement of players.
So, no other teams than those can TTM.
So of the 24 possible teams, we have 3 tier3 teams and one other who can profit from this "regularly". We have 2 more teams who could risk it for a last minute score. We have 3 teams who need to be the weaker team, 2 of them by quite a margin, to at least be able to try it.
I doubt it will have a game breaking effect, and will definitely rather help the underdog(s). |
