I play LRB6 table top but none of my teams have played with secret weapons before or against teams with secret weapons so I thought I would read the new secret weapons rules to see what has changed since LRB4 and I'm a little confused about something.
I cant find any reference to players getting sent off for using secret weapons. Also as far as I can tell players with ball and chain no longer need to move first and no longer have to roll for falling over and dying at the end of their movement. Also it appears they now have tackle zones so can assist blocks and force players to dodge away from them, as there doesn't appear to be any rules to the contrary.
Is this correct? Or have I just missed something glaringly obvious somewhere? |

Players with Secret Weapon are always sent off by the ref after the drive...
However, you can let them play longer with a Bribe. |

seem to be correct re ball and chain from the skill description.
regarding secret weapons, see the skill descritpion - any player with a secret weapon is automatically sent off at the end of a drive. you can of course negate this with the use of a bribe if you have one/some.
edit bribes are only effective on a 2+ roll which id overlooked |

Quote: | Secret Weapon (Extraordinary)
Some players are armed with special pieces of equipment that are called
‘secret weapons’. Although the Blood Bowl rules specifically ban the use
of any weapons, the game has a long history of teams trying to get
weapons of some sort onto the pitch. Nonetheless, the use of secret
weapons is simply not legal, and referees have a nasty habit of sending
off players that use them. Once a drive ends that this player has played
in at any point, the referee orders the player to be sent off to the
dungeon to join players that have been caught committing fouls during
the match regardless of whether the player is still on the pitch or not. |
