hi guys. have just tried to play a game, but it wouldnt load properly, the other guy said he got a message saying mine was not an official version or something.
we restarted with a lrb5 match and it worked fine.
am running 8.9 and downloaded it all from skijunkies site, so not sure why this problem came up, can anyone help?

First install javabbowl 8.8a full.
Then, unzip the javabbowl 8.9 patch to the same folder - it will replace the existing bbowl.jar. Make sure it doesn't create a subfolder or something else instead.

Not sure what could be the problem. I would perhaps try and reinstall. As Kryten says, make sure to patch it right. http://www.worldinfocus.net/FUMBBL/javabbowl/Articles/LatestRelease8.9.html


Lrb5 is not related to Skijunkie's client, so that would work no matter what.
