Bug Description

In a previous game my opponent chain pushed my stunned pro elf blitzer and the Side Step skill was activated. I believe the rules state that prone/stunned players cannot sidestep.

Screenshot

Unfortunately it got lost after a power failure, and the game got wiped after the last update Neutral

I never thought about this. Can prone player side step or use stand firm?

No, because neither skill is 'Extraordinary' [Extraordinary skills can be used on the ground]

Examples of 'Extraordinary' skills Stunty and Foul Appearance.

Foul Appearance is a Mutation, not an Extraordinary skill, though you got Stunty correct. And yeah I guess, unless stated in the skill description (jump up), only Extraordinary skills can by used while on the ground.

In the FAQ on page 61 it says: - The coach of the moving team decides all pushback directions unless the pushed player has side step. If the player has side step, his coach decides where he is pushed to. (note: grab cannot be used on secondary or more push backs to cancel out side step)

However on page 23 under Skills it says:
Unless otherwise stated in the skill description, the following rules apply to all skills.

6 Only extraordinary skills work when a player is prone or stunned.

So the questions are:
1) Does the FAQ over ride the general rule, as there is no specific mention regarding prone there?
2) Does the FAQ constitute part of the skill description?
