I tried to use vamps and tons of bugs appeared on second half of this match
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=3045318
1)Failed Blood Lust give the chance to choose which trall will be hurted but sometimes no injury was rolled
(2nd half: 2nd turn and 3rd turn)
2)Not able to stand up performing move action and then use ipno gaze
(2nd half:4th turn)
3)Able to use ipno gaze in the same action with blitz
(2nd half:3rd turn)
4)Start a pass action, fail Blood Lust roll, move 6 square toward a trall then no possible to pass the ball to anybody
(2nd half:6th turn)
Hope this hints will be usefull, keep working, awesome job |

number 4 is actually correct according to the rules:
the vamp's action is changed to a MOVE action on a failed Blood Lust roll. so no pass, sorry.
will look into the other ones, though. |

No4 is not correct anymore if i recall right, that changed between LRB5 and LRB6.
As long as he is able to bite a thrall, he should be able to pass the ball. |

yeah, silly me. i even implemented that u need to stand right beside a thrall when passing because it is biting first, passing second. did u try that uomotigre3?
EDIT: just restested it. it works in standalone as described above. |

Actually I wasright beside a trall but I did not tried to bite the trall, I am sure if it was possible. I just tried to pass the ball.
So another question comes up. When I failed BL roll on a block action, I was able to perform the block and then I had to choose which trall bite, is this behaviour expected? |

Number two is ok, you can use Hypno Gaze while remaining prone.
A whole pile of Bloodlust and HG rules clarifications/odd situations:

For those without a TFF account:
Galak on HG, BL, and being prone:
Quote: | If he is Prone and all you want to do is Gaze someone:
If you pass Blood Lust you can stay prone and gaze.
If you fail Blood Lust you can A) stay prone, gaze and then be sent to reserves (turnover) or B) stand up, gaze and bite a thrall. |

The rules aren't clear about it. Can you chose NOT to bite a thrall even if you are standing next to one? |

it also doesn't say if the block in a block action can be done before or after the bite. I'd say after, but i don't know why it doesn't specify it like it does with ball-related actions. |

what happened to me is:
I rolled Blood Lust successfully, stand up without move any square but I could not use gaze. Regards !! |

Uomotigre3: could you do me a favor? Please split this up into separate bugs and put them into the Bug Reporting system so I can tick them off one by one. Thank you. |

Yes you may choose to bite a spectator instead of your teammates, as you earlier said: Quote: | the Vampire must feed on a Thrall team-mate or a spectator. |
However, this will cause the vampire to move to the reserves and its team getting a turnover.
***
Interesting quirk regarding Bloodlust: if a Vampire catches a thrown a bomb, the vampire must immediately take a nameless throw-a-bomb Action. All Actions require a bloodlust roll. If the bloodlust roll fails and there is no thrall next to the vampire, the vampire feeds on spectator before making the pass and the bomb explodes. Only Block Action may be changed into a Move Action. (Relevant skill descriptions are Bloodlust and Bombardier)
Bloodlust is in my opinion one of trickiest skills in the rules. Good thing about it is that with the specification of Bloodlust it is possible to deduce the inner workings of Blood Bowl physics.
For instance, now that we know that Bloodlust is resolved at the end of the Action but before passing or handing off, how do we interpret the Tentacles? If a player takes a pass action and at some point is held by Tentacles, is the player still able to make the pass from the square Tentacles stopped it in? |

Tentacles description state that if you fail to exit the tz due to tentacles the action ends immediately, so no pass, hand off or blitz-block after failing to escape the tents.
As for the bomb+bloodlust, vampires do not declare the action, so there is no immediately after declaring an action moment to roll for bloodlust. |
