Im interested in applying for the crown of sand qualifiers but once i have how many games can i play before my first game and between that game and any other games up to the final of the qualifiers?
In the instructions it says this - 'They will also be invited to the CoS finals, as long as they play no more than three games after winning their final'
So am i right in assuming we can play as many B games as we like up to the tourney starts and even while it is going on until we have played the final(assuming we get that far which i wont  ) after which we can only play 3 games? |

No.
You are not right.
Once applied you can contiue to play as normal until the moment of the draw.
From then on until the qualifier is finished, or you are eliminated, you can only play qualifier games. the team will show as scheduled, even if agsainst unknown opponents at times.
Once the qualifier is completed you can play up to 3 games before the draw for the finals. This is current FUMBBL standard practice. Once drawn into the finals you are agaisn at the mercy of the tournament, and will be unable to play again until your team is eliminated, or wins. |

Cool thanks, thats why i was confused because like you say all tourneys once a draw has been made you cannot play in the division.
I just thought the crown of sand pages were a little missleading.

another question regarding tournaments:
Must your team be "ready to play" at the time of the draw? I understand that for capped tournaments should be a requisite, but what happens with uncapped tournaments, aka majors?
My elves just played a game and are waiting for the draw in post-game phase. Will they get drawn?
What if you are playing at the time of the draw? As long as the game isn't uploaded, the team is marked as Scheduled, and I don't think that you can get Scheduled vs 2 teams. How does the system handle these situations? |
