For zombies dedicated to the los who usually end up as punching bags.

Discuss.

Wrestle if line fodder. Block is the second option.
But usually you donĀ“t have so much skilled zombies. Especially when puting them to the line. Its often better to put them on the sides (not to far outside).
In the line you put the 0 SP Zombies. Only when you have a load of skilled zombies and especially in a tourney put them in the frontline to.

I think I am gonna try wrestle for my undead zombies.

Wrestle, takes fewer blocks, puts an opponent prone, might make him dedicate extra resources for the line if both downs are rolled.

Block will probably make him dedicate extra resources to the front line if both downs are rolled. (that includes players standing on the line blocking instead of moving on)

Wrestle just seems a little more annoying.

Also think I am getting 2 dirty players before block/wrestle ones.

I like to get block in the off chance they roll a double and get guard.

I'd get two with wrestle and one with block. the block one is in the center to help prevent openning a hole in the defense. the side wrestlers are for helping take down more powerful opponents.

I like block.
With MV of 4 they can't really take advantage of the both down outcome. Wrestle may prevent another block on that zombie for that turn, but the whole point of a zombie meat-shield is to take the hits and tie up the opponent blockers, so the more blocks on the zombie the less on your more valuable players.

Like most things in blood bowl, it's probably best to have a balance between the two. You just have to find how many of each you prefer to have.

Wow. These are some good answers.
Thanks everyone.

So i guess the next question is do i actively try to skill zombie or just let it happen?

Just let it happen --- not like it is easy to skill a zombie anyway.

Unless you get a nice +ST -- a zombie that is to skilled is always a drag on TV.

Wrestle/Block mix; Wrestle is better for LOS fodder and blocks on the ball, Block is better for man-marking guys who don't have Block and for actually hurting things.

Don't actively try to skill skilled zombies. An occasional pass with a 5spp one, or letting one score is fine to get them a first skill. Beyond that, you're better off skilling up your better players, or at least special zombies (i.e. that Guard or +ST zombie really wants Block at your earliest convenience)
