Hello you!
HUBBA is almost ready to kick-off the seventh season. BUT we have assassin.. I mean we have lost three coaches so we're looking for you!
Want to know about League Rules? In short:
-GMT-ish
-Random team allocation when you join
-We play in three division with 10 day rounds and afterwards there'll be a knock-out cup.
-Award ceremony after the regular season!
-There's also the addition House Rules (self assist on foul, right stuff prevents tackle, etc).
So which team will you play? Well, you actually don't have a say in it! Whaaaaaaat? Yes that's right, but fear not: in HUBBA each race is unique and for the this season the following teams are available for the draw:
-Dwarf (booo!)
-Slann (ooooh!)
-Lizardman (sssssss!)
We're still waiting for confirmation from our Halfling, High Elf and Wood Elf coaches but I expect them to be around this season. If any of them drop-out we'll need replacements for them too.
So how do you get in?
1. You post here in this thread and tell us you'd like to join HUBBA.
2. You send me a PM with a picture of yourself wearing a bunny suit*.
3. Once we've got three applicants you will be randomly assigned a team. This will take place in a highly official manner with several officials (one ofthem will be my highly reliable 3-years-old daughter) to ensure Fair Play**. I will announce the draw here so you can join us in IRC.
4. You make a team according to the regular rules and apply to the group.
5. You sign the document we'll send you declaring your life is now ours.***
*Any suit will do, as long as we can use it to blackmail you.
**Turn 18 fouls, fireballs, lightning bolts, force fields and nightly visits by eldritchfox are excluded.
***You don't have to move to HUBBA Towers but your income, any spouses and children as well as your car and any My Little Pony collections will from that moment on be HUBBA property.

awesome league this one.
to clarify anything goes in this league, you can wiz up and foul as much as you like. The only difference to the standard rules are a nerf to PO and buff to sneaky git and stunty |

Calthor we've had this conversation before! We agreed not to use that word in public. That's what the word applicants is for. Or friends. Colleagues. Comrades. Amigos. Worst case you call them "homies" but never the v-word. People might get the wrong idea. HUBBA is perfectly normal, friendly group of like-minded people sharing their love for Blood Bowl with friendly banter and appropriate jokes.

Great! But you don't get to pick a team. If you want to join HUBBA you have to be ok with ANY one of the teams I mentioned (and MAYBE even flings or woodies, high elves have confirmed).
Since you're relatively new I'd like to make sure you can commit yourself to at least completing a full season. If so, then you're more than welcome. We can use another Spaniard (to make fun of when they have to leave the world cup after the group phase). |

It's all about HAVING to learn play a new team (well to me it is/was anyway).
I'll make sure you get Slann  (joking, I'll make it as random as three painted kiwi eggs in a top hat can be).
edit: same goes for you btw, can you play once every 10 days at regular BBtimes (=GMT+1, 18:00-23:00 or so)?

Never conceed a match unless there is a very very good reason. Basically the same as the site rules. There is almost never a good reason to quit in the middle of a game. |

All right sign me up. Should be able to play normal times. Although in a couple weeks it'll probably go down to around 18:00-20:30 and after 23:00ish. |
