First Simyin team development thread!
While currently awaiting approval from the NBFL commish, how would YOU start/build/develop this exciting team? Extra points for following the NBFL Design paradigm.
Silverback ...gotta have one? Or is he Tv sink? Guard or PO?
Gorillas gotta have four. What skill path? Stymie? Killer?
Chimpanzee. Both? Sweeper/safety? Baller? Catcher?
Thro-rangutang..wasted TV or elfy passer? Up armored lino? One? Both? Or just a leader bunny?
Bonobos....how many? What first normal roll?
I would like to test this roster next season and may open up sponsorship positions for interested parties (cough ...jeffro silverback cough) |

Silver back, yes I think so. You have so much AV7 on the team otherwise. Guard first skill for me.
Gorillas, definitely 4. I think a mixture of MB and Dodge first skill. Dodge and Guard second skill. One MB could get the PO. 2 with Guard, Dodge, ss and grab seems a lethal but expensive cocktail. However this is League.
Chimps not catchers I don't think. wrodge them up asap, then i guess tackle and strip.
Thro tang............maybe kor.....not sure about a leader bunny in league.
Bonobos deffo block, 1 dp maybe, a kicker. there's not much too them, so they need block. 50k though for an ag3 av7 lino is too expensive. Have as few of these on the pitch as possible i think. |

My plan is develop them a bit like squigs...
silverback and a couple of gorillas as killers
a couple as ball carriers and aim at a running game
i'm not gonna bother with the orangutang
use the chimps as sweepers/sackers
and the bonobos as support, block etc |

the question is, who's going to carry the ball?
the chimps have A access, so dodge is possible, and they're fast.
However, wretsle is not optimal so they'll need block aswell later.
the bonobos could carry, but have no A access, so only dodge on doubles... |
