14 games team vs 94 games team.
And people wonder why a casual player may get bored from that sh!$.
No, i'm no pixel hugger but i like some sort of a "fair" challenge. Facing 2 legends with clawpomb with my almost rookie team is just dumb.
Whatever you may say, do not wonder why people get away from the box, my last game made it. Have your fun superstars and legends. Do not expect a casual player to enjoy that. |

Right now there is a 6 game old team taking on a 628 game old team as I type this. |

At the risk of naming & shaming, one of those teams is a big reason why the scheduler was changed.
I know there are a lot of factors that go into the draw, but that just doesn't seem right at all. |

That has one Clawpomber and thats it.
I'd argue a OTTD Rat at 1000 TV is worse and I have the wins to prove it. |

I can only comment on what I've seen since I joined, but forum posts lately don't really give the impression of terribly high morale on Fumbbl generally... |

Really? We're having a greta time in so many ways. So I'm sorry of you're getting that impression.
Weekly and Minor tournament have better numbers than they have had for years.
The Majors in both R and B and proving enduringly popular.
L is getting a huge revamp but is massively active with solid regular leagues.
Resurection BB has come to FUMBBL and with it an influx of new players from table top.
But B has some issues with predatory coaches, and R with picky ones. This is not news. People can be anything they want online, and some choose to be arseholes. |

People who joined a few months back are hitting the wall where they presuppose an outcome based on unpleasant experiences. I dont think this is abnormal though and the alternatives are not heartening. |

Also, people are much less likely to take the time to post saying "Everything is great, carry on as you are" than to complain. That's just human nature. However: Everything is great. |

Actually, I'm sure you're both right so sorry if that sounded like a criticism. I love playing and haven't had a game with a 'bad' coach. I've played in one league so far, which was great fun. I've even had some great chats that have lasted far beyond the end of the game. I only meant that sometimes on the forums people seem a bit fed up with one thing or another. On reflection those times are probably few and far between and, as PurpleChest pointed out, are legitimate issues. |

Me too, although I lost a Legend Troll and Super Star Fanatic today. Its not easy being green and stunty.
Also #metabox is the irc channel with the best conversation on fumbbl, hop in if you wanna gripe or gloat about your matchups and stealing pants. |
