Orcs and Imbeciles welcome to the thread dedicated to recapping the play of Fummbl's newest stunty team, Skinks and a Fat Guy! The team is composed entirely out of skinks and one Kroxigor.
For their first game they faced off against wood elves. In the first half things were looking good when they managed, not one, not two, but 6 crowd surfs. Sadly the crowds were full of pillows and only two casualties were caused. The rest were not even ko'd. The skinks also dropped two team boots on some wardancers. The first ended in an empty stun, while the second ended in a cranky ref sending the skink off the pitch. Despite having the ball carrier downed a few times in the first half the Skinks manage a perfect 8 turn stall losing only 2 skinks to a ban and a Ko.
End of the First Half 1-0 Skinks
As the skinks lined up to kickoff a sudden shift in the air could be felt throughout the bones of all watching, even the undead. The elves came barreling down the field aggressively pursuing the end zone. Once again Skinks and a Fat Guy managed to surf an elf, and yet agin no casualty. The next play two skinks ducked and dogged their way down the field to mark the ball handler while a third came flying in at full speed. With a perfectly executed blitz the elf was tossed to the ground. The blitzer continued on to scoop up the ball. Little did the skinks know this was the begging of the end. On the very next action a linemen begins a backside blitz against the ball handler delivering a pow. The skinks try to recover but the damage is done and the woodies tie the game. Still hopeful for victory the Fat Guy steps up to the line of Scrimmage to cause some damage. As the kick is high and away the Kronxigor starts to go in for the kill on a flimsy av7 elf, only to somehow cut his own throat. Double skulls, Dead. The elves then proceed to score unhindered by the thinning field. To make matters worse, the skinks are still in shock from losing their Big Guy and the elves come blitzing by for the kickoff event.
The game ends 1-3 Woodies.
Left with no money and no Big Guy the once hopeful stunty team is forced to sink into the pages of "did you know" conversations and "trivial pursuit blood bowl edition."
Conclusion - Completely outplay your opponent with an inferior team only to have nuffle suck the life out of them. Nuffle hates fun... |
