Hello there!
My team is:
https://fumbbl.com/p/team?team_id=801574
Right now I have two questions:
-What skill should i give to the wardancer (+1AG, tackle, sidestep right now, with another wardancer +1AG, stripball, tackle)
-Should I fire some lineman? They have some stats or skills increases that i feel they are just rocketing my TV more than they really should do...
Many thanks! |

Sure hands on the dancer, or you make a 2nd strip baller.
Why would you fire those linemen???
Granted the +AG/Guard guy is a bit of a problem without block or dodge, but give him leap and you have your perfect set up for getting better shots on the ball in a cage. Otherwise guard/dodge is ideal, follow with block, and kick/wrestle is basically ideal too, follow with dodge.
I'd hire more linemen, you have the cash for it.
It is an L team though, so team management is much more dependent on your matchups, which you should know (to some degree) in advance anyway. |

If you don't want to go retrieval specialist (sure hands) on the other dancer, an AG5 leap sidestep frenzy is also a great asset.
TV...
If you're worried about TV, I would consider dropping a reroll and/or getting a thrower with leader, rather than firing those good linos. Skilled (and statted) linos are great on woodies, and yes, guard is expensive but worth it!
While high TV can be a drag at times, you can still win a major with a TV 2910 woodie team.
Next lino to roll doubles, I'd give Mb (especially if it's early, hoping for PO later). Doubles on the dancers should also be Mb. |

I'd not fire those linos in the box... And you are playing league
The only little bloat could be wrestle on the kicker, but it's just 20k ...
If you really want to drop your TV, you can:
- discard a reroll
- give kick to the -ma dancer
- fire the kick wrestle lino
- buy a thrower, skill him with leader asap and drop another reroll (2 + leader are usually enough)
With Galadriel I'd go side step and wrestle
Edit: you can also consider, alternatively, to reroll the +ag catcher and hope for a +ma instead |

Many thanks for the replies!
I like both sure hands and frenzy options for the wardancer, altough with M7 and S3 probably he will face a lot of 1 dice block having to run first, bit it is true that anythig that can take out enemy players is great.
And yes i was planning to buy a thrower and then linos. i dont think getting more catchers is a good idea.
Next game im facing a nasty orc team, with a 8 guards, block on everything but the troll and a MB PO blitzer with tackle,so i can say goodbye to this tournament xdd |

OUCH
Didn't see you have a final!
You want to try to win? Fire something and hire a wizard... It's the best teammate you can have with woodies
(that's what happens when you ban clawpomb... Tons of greenskins all around ) |

looking at the team's record, I wouldn't say your team suffers TV-unefficiency... |

Do NOT
I reapeat, Do NOT
DO NOT hire a thrower, and under no circumstances should elfs EVER take leader.
Your team is fine, you simply need surehands on someone, and you can rehire a lino or two. Frenzy dancer is nice and all, but on a -MA guy I'd be hesitant. Still, it would give you the chances to at least surf something now and then.
I'd still take sure hands myself, but I am very reroll phobic, so skills which help with that are core to me, and sure hands (as opposed to pass) is something you will use every drive, and ideally everytime your strip baller knocks it loose. You need the reroll (potentially) to reroll the leaps/blocks, you don't want to be lacking when you go in to pick up the loose ball. |

Leader is the best BB skill if you care about TV.
The OP asked about TV so I think he does care... |

The TV savings with 50k Rerolls is negligble and takes away a potentially useful skill. It's not like underworld throwers or players on teams with 70k rerolls where there is some appreciable savings. |

Both frenzy and SH would have benefited from the MA he used to have. SH is a great pick too. Throwers are fun, they make plan B more reliable, and make spreading out vs blocky opponents as well as stalling a lot easier for elves.
Leader on an elf thrower isn't AS good as on some other races, but still worthwhile imo. |

Licker and I disagree on the wood elf thrower. I think it's fine, and I've discussed it at length in other threads. Use search.
As for wardancers, I build mine all the same:
Every Wardancer: Tackle, Strip Ball, Sidestep
If I get Doubles: Mighty Blow, Guard if I have the above three singles
Honestly the only question is what you take if you don't get a stat. Assume all the below 76 SPP Wardancers have Tackle, Strip Ball, and Sidestep:
No Stat, No Double = Wrestle, then Kick, Sure Hands, or Fend
Mighty Blow = Kick, Sure Hands, or Fend
+ST = Frenzy
+AG = Sure Hands
+MA = Kick, Sure Hands, or Fend |

Well I do not look at leader as a TV savings over the long run. I look at it as a nice Gold savings in the short term. Especially on a gold strapped Wood Elf team. I can save 100K and get that extra reroll right now for no cash and invest a skill to get one.
Leader is nice but he can get depitched and so forth.
SO, I like to take almost all my teams to 4 rerolls and then get that leader at some point, to save GOLD and get that 5th reroll off a skill. |
