*Judge Mountain Blandis takes the podium*
Greetings,
This is my least favorite time of the season. All the games are in the books, all the bets and wagers have been paid out and collected, all the blood has ceased flowing. Even though there is no more SPLAT for this season I can take solace in the knowledge that Season 2 was a fantastic season. Complete with record breaking performances, a new champion, and a tons of fun on the pitch. Here are some highlights!
This game is our new record for most points scored in a game (71)
This game is a new record for most TD's scored in a game (7)
And while not a record we had 5! games with 11 Casualties in them this year. Quantity seemed to be the theme this year on casualties!
Overall we had 590 games scored for S.P.L.A.T Season 2 and nearly 2 million rabid spectators. Amazing!
Our overall winner this year, perhaps to no ones surprise, is Azure. Rounding out what is perhaps one of the best coaching years in all of Blood Bowl Azure adds a S.P.L.A.T. Championship to his trophy case. His teams the The Lost Paladins and The Lost Halflings played nearly perfect Blood Bowl placing highly in other categories which we'll get to shortly. His final score was 475.75 a NEW SPLAT RECORD! Additionally the Lost Paladins also racked up 45 Casualties and earned the Biggest Bully award this season. Here are your shields, Champion!
Our runner up Immeli lead for much of the season but ultimately came up a short. His teams, East West Flying Opossums and Space Satan, were touchdown machines. This is a coach that the oddsmakers will be looking at very closely next season. Your award, sir.
Our third place team powered a fantastic Pygmy team and a Squig Team into a solid third place showing. Additionally that Pygmy team, Savage Little Warthogs was also our Rarest of the Rare this season. Your awards, sir.
Immeli's East West Flying Opossums and Fishsoup's Destiny Makers tied the scoring record with 20 TD's by a single team! Your co-awards
Last but not least, our new award the S.P.L.A.T. Fanatic. This year it doesn't go to just one person as we had two coaches that played so many games our scorekeepers have nightmares. xnoelx and Crook666 played 42 games with Swarmy of Darkness and the Forest of Fools. Unbelievable, gentleman. I appreciate your dedication to our fantastic Leeg. Your awards.
That's it for our awards this season. I'd like to thank all the coaches, teams, and fans that supported a hugely successful S.P.L.A.T. Season 2. Season 3 is in the works but likely won't begin until the later stages of the next Stunty Major. Good luck and we'll see you next season!

Indeed, thanks, SPLAT was a lot of fun, again. Once I saw the scores some people were getting, it was pretty clear I was unlikely to be in the running for most of the awards, so I set my sights on beating Crook to the fanatic one. I'll happily settle for the draw though. |

I just wanna thank all the coaches I played and baelnic for all this. I think S.P.L.A.T. is the best Stunty event around and I look forward to season III to improve my final scores. See ya on the pitch guys! |

Thanks baelnic. The close season is time for me to warm up another team for the next one - i think i'll give the cheaters a rest and try something else. When will it be (roughly) and do you know which teams will be common / uncommon? |

It will be after the next major starts. Proflings will likely be moving to common but it will depend on the next major turnout. |

Sorry for the necro I feel like I owe you guys a explanation to the absence of SPLAT.
Many of you know that I had a child during SPLAT Season 1. Well I ended up with another after SPLAT Season 2. With our family doubling in size it meant we needed a bigger house which turned into renovating a bigger house that we could afford which turned my free time into negative time (was I time traveling into the future?). Thus I had zero time for my passion of Blood Bowl.
TLDR: Life got in the way.
I fully intend to return to FUMBBL and SPLAT in the future (if anyone still cares). 2016 looks promising and I hope to see you guys on the pitch in the future. |

I think they definitely would. However, Splat 1 - Child 1, Splat 2 - Child 2, Splat 3 - ?. I'd caution you on running anymore Splats, they sound expensive! |
