Yes, I know he isn't long for this world, but I came up with a very interesting idea for them.

I know Block/Wrestle is primary pick for a doubled snot.
Another choice is Leader, cheap reroll for good stuff.

But... think about this...

<Foremole> Could you imagine Side Step and Fend?
<Linnaeus> that would be hell
<Foremole> Totally what I am getting
<Foremole> if I ever roll doubles
<Linnaeus> woah, calm down there satan

Side step + Fend. It denies him a block against the same Snotling next turn if something goes horribly wrong, unless he has blitzed already.

Fend is not so useful because
a) you don't have block, it doesn't help against both down results
b) you get 3d blocks, so you fell often and your av5 doesn't grant you'll be on pitch next turn
c) you dodge away with a 2+ anyway

Leader is very useful, +MA too because your team is dramatically slow! I'd choose between those two.

Dirty player for sure!! How come it's not even in your list?? The only thing snotlings are good for is fouling anyway, and with DP you greatly improve the odds of removing players from the pitch

Also, I don't think 'tankier', 'survivable' and particularly 'devastating' are words you can ever associate with a snotling Razz

Dirty Player is the only skill a snotling needs.

Dirty Player makes the most sense but I know nothing of Ogre/snots.

Hey, watch your tone, this snotling is a genuine killer! Last game he killed a Rotter. Better watch your tongue, otherwise he might go for you next!

I tried several double picks on snots, and had a DP snot for 25 games . I used him every chance I have at a good foul.

First point is... it will be the skill that will make him live longer, because when it is sent off, it cannot be killed anymore.

Second point is : snots leave the field quickly anyway, and you usually have many more players than your opponent, so it is rare that you won't find a target that you would gladly trade a KO for a sent off snot.

Third point is... if he skills again, then sneaky git + dp on a snot is hilarious. Your opponent gets pressured when you foul every single turn Very Happy

The other double pick I'd advocate is wrestle, it is not as usefull, but it is really fun when it screws your opponent Smile

Guard is OK, but he won't last long, and you don't need it that much since ogres are strong enough and will all get guard anyway

I tried leader and was not convinced. It is not like you can count on him being there on seconbd half...

Big fan of sure hands on a snotling. Saves the reroll for picking up and when receiving he can pick up and hand off to an ogre who doesn't need to activate to recieve the hand off, thereby reducing bonehead. Sure hands snot is also great for sneaking through gaps to pick up in a tackle zone when otherwise you'd only be able to mark the ball.

After that I get one with leader (who dies quickly), one with kick (kick short and be on top of those slow teams straight away) and the rest get DP or wrestle. I don't worry too much about putting skills on snotlings as everyone knows they don't last long and you might get some more use out of them while they're still alive

Dirty player is also a very protective skill. He will live very long as he will spend on average 13 turns on the bench per match after the ref sent him off

I miss the Ogre choice for the poll to go: Hurrr.... Pie!
Other then that, Dirty Player is the most sensible choice.

It's 5,5 take +MA for more reliable ttm scores.

dp is fine too, but meh.
