Would it be possible to celebrate the drawing of a black box match with a sound? I'm suggesting a similar thing as happens when a ranked game is offered.
We've all at some point forgotten that we're in the draw and not turned up, or turned up late due to not knowing/realising that there has been a match made. Perhaps you have not, but I will except you for sake of argument.
Reasons include: the distractions of the world outside, a ranked search, the fact that one may have entered multiple draws and failed and rather given up hope etc, etc. A small and insignificant change but one that would be good I think. |

Ding will probably get through the second round but will go out in the quarters. Had a really bad season and only just got through the first round. He's probably on his way out. |

It doesn't have to be a pleasant ding. What about some kind of Gong? Or perhaps, klaxon? |

I thought this thread was going to be about levelling in an MMO. When one of the players in my guild levelled, they would always say 'Ding' in guild chat.

There is at most 5 minutes between the time of someone activating and the draw being made. Do people *actually* forget they clicked to activate within 5 minutes?
I'm not saying I'm opposed to the idea of a notification but I'm actually curious if people are that absent minded... |

Bearing in mind that some people play while tired, drunk or... otherwise impaired, and perhaps substituting "get distracted" for "forget", yes, people definitely are. |

Yep. Especially when you spend those 5 minutes hoping to get a ranked match. A 'ding!' would make sure I wouldn't click 'accept' when the box one drew. =) |
