Can anybody give me a hand...
Every time I quit the client at the end of a game, it's crashing my computer.
I don't suffer any problems during the game, and I don't suffer this problem with any other program...
XP reports my Video card is what is having the problems, but I trust a microsoft message about as much as I'd trust Jacko with a 12 yr old boy...
Any ideas,
Gk. |

This could possible be a problem with XP and using direct x. First, what jre are you using. 1.4.01 supposedly has some issues with direct x and some video cards. Try using JRE 1.4.02.
Two other things to try.
1) Go to your graphics direct x setting and disable hardware acceleraton. You may have to reboot before the changes take affect. Then try java bbowl and see if you are still having the problem.
2) Run the java application from a command line or a shortcut with the following switch:
"-Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true"
Thus the entire command line would look something like this:
"javaw.exe -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true -jar bbowl.jar"
Let me know if this fixes your problems. |

Nah, 12 years would be way too old, don't you think? I'd trust him in that case! |

If you are using a custom team file, make sure it is 100% correct. Whenever I hit 'OK' at the half my computer would reboot. But only with MY teamfile.
Found out I had errors in it. I didn't have 0's in the team members skills and whatnot area plus I had the team name incorrect. I had 'Lizardmen' instead of 'Lizardman'. Once I fixed those it worked great.
