Probably another idea that requires titanic coding job to be done, but here are some points towards it.
The ability to split the game client into 2 separate windows (window 1: the pitch + weather + score;
window 2: game log + chat) will open up a lot of monitor space to play around with in order to pick a perfect client size which will not obscure the pixel art, or, if you have a second monitor - use a proper fullscreen mode for pitch for monitor 1, and have all other necessaries (chat and game log) in monitor 2.
I've tried playing using various devices, and the noticeble pattern is that newer monitors and laptops with higher screen resolutions are very hard to set up properly, so that the player icons look as intended. The thing standing in the way of picking the perfect client size was the chat typing bar being unreachable behind monitor borders or if you play around with layout - the icons became just painfully small and hard to stare at for an hour or so.
Thanks for reading and the tremendous work that You have already done over these years! |
