I would believe that most people think it is poor sportsmanship to foul in turn 16, since the only thing you can accomplish is injury to the opponent without the chance for retaliation. However, blocking in turn 16 still has the opportunity to generate a few SPPs.

It's all about personal choise, I personally don't foul period 1st turn or last.
When i come across people who foul for non tactical reasons <I.e my player is next to the ball carrier and prone> i just won't play them again.
there are plenty of people about who don't foul so i will just play them.
This however does not mean that the people who do foulf are cheaters or bad people they just chose to play that way and more power to them. |

Fouling is personal taste unless fouling in turn 16. That is just plain bad sportsmanship.
Fouling as a tactic to win is fine. (even if under the current rules too easy and powergaming)
Fouling to destroy teams has to do with a serious lack of *censored by self*. |

So is fouling a stunned player 15 paces from the ball before you walk one pace to score on turn 7, is that tactics or bad sportsmanship? |

If he is a one-turner then yes that is tactical but if he is a longbeard then no. |

Yeh one turners are even more of a cheap shot than fouling in turn 16 if i see any one turners down i will foul them as they take the fun out of the match and deserve to die horribly!!! |

Fouling in turn 16 can be a very good tactic if you're playing in a league and are likely to play the same team in the next season...hehe...however they will probably do the same to you...and I still think it is bad manners... Still...my point is that there can very well be a point to turn 16 fouling... |

agrees with spike - 1 turners are cheap and it is good to foul them at any point - that way you do favour to all coaches......but if I had a 1 turner I am sure I would use him also..... |

Yesterday i played a game vs norse. I had the very clear chance to foul (with my DE) his minotaur and several other ofs his players and chose not to, although this would have put me in good advantage, since i have no big guy. He was 3-1 and, on his last turn, he decides to foul, with no need and no reason. I call that bad sportmanship. If you plan on fouling, just do it since turn 1 or just don't.
BTW, after the match, he excused himself saying that, in some moments "i had the intention" of fouling... ¿Telepathic bb?
