I dunno...its a fair question...I suppose...isn't totally clear....
No regenerators have to roll for the effects of ageing like any other player.
You can cut their arm off and it'll grow back, but those fine lines and wrinkles are just too gosh darn tough to shift. |

You'd think that Vampires and other undead would learn. 3000 years old and he joins a BB team out of boredom, 3 games later he's feeling the effects of age... Hmm
Course, undead would be broken if they didn't age like the other teams but it is daft. |

Vampire aging always got me. I mean for christ sake they are vampiers! The whole point of being a vamp is you don't age. I can see mummies and zombies falling apart but vampiers are supposed to be almost totally static. Oh well this is one of those things where balance wins out over fluff. |

So-called "ageing" is daft on its own, as it has nothing to do with age/ageing at all actually. |

Ageing is in NO way realistic, its not inteded to be. Its intended to be a game balancer. Though personally I dont like it. |

Its just the name for Player Attrition , the theory that high impact sports would have a negative effect long term on your health , its mainly game balance and not fluffy for some races |

Ageing is not meant in the way that the player just celebrated his 60th birthday and suddenly noticed he plays worse than those youngsters. If it were, undead and elves wouldn't age, whereas orcs and goblins would feel the effect of ageing much sooner. The opposite is the case though, as age is simply wear and tear. Indeed, those 3 games on the pitch let the vampire "age" faster than it normally would when just sitting in his castle, philosophing over the meaning of life while having some refreshing virgin's blood. |

Really, if anything, "aging" for Orcs would only make them tougher. Orcs don't deteroriate like pansy 'umiez do. |

HollowOne, what do you base that theory on? They are a fecund race and looking at real world fecundity rates, fecundity = relative short life spans...but I know it's dangerous to apply real worl logics to something like BB |

Vampires do not suffer any wear and tear, period. They might get hurt but when they wake up the next day they injury is gone. I don't even want to get into the logic of what should happen when bright sun comes up lol. That is a good point about orks, orks don't really get older either the longer they live and the more you hurt them the bigger and tougher they get. I doubt an ork has ever lived long enough to know if they can die of old age though as they spend their entire lives doing nothing but trying to get killed. The Viking, his logic is based on all the games workshop fluff concerning orcs. |
