skinks with saurus were way too strong, but as soon as they left skinks went down the sink. i was thinking if i we could work out something for em.
what if...

0-2 Cold One 5 4 1 8 OFAB, really stupid, thick skull,

and move the adapt to star status. this would give the skinks a bit of strenght, but they would lose speed (really stupid) and some players Smile (OFAB).

I don't actually mind this. You'd have to edit the Skinks to they were Thralls. What skill access/cost were you thinking about for these? Also, no MB?

Yup I havent played against a skink team in ages so its clear no-one plays them or if they do they are hiding them well. Something needs doing to the little lizzies

Id agree, not enough punch to make a hole through chaos fling teams and nurglings all over, and sinc etheyre stunty they cant really pass round em either

What about giving the skinks a big guy
likea kroxigor, or what about inventing a new one, or even make the adepts really skilly and hard.

I really like playing with my skinks and i win fairly regularly so i dont see that changes need to be made , but if peikko is serious about loosing teams then i supose the skinks need to change. So i recon a 0-1 big guy is what is needed

There aint anything forcing any race to be altered or removed if there is no better races or version of existing races to replace them.

I think a point whihc is important to raise if anyone thinks the Skinks rnt up to scratch is that i just beat peikko 3-0 using my new skink team so i think there is a lot to be said for how they r now and i just think that people are to blame for not using them not the other way round.

I dont think many that have played with skinks or against them do think theyre weak, specially at low tr. Skinks biggest problems are that they are just too fast for stunty leeg and with current roster they can be pretty boring.

At higher tr it becomes a bit like elf-play, youre either lucky with your dodge/ball rolls or oppo has a lot of blocks to beat your team.

What I would like to see is somekinda reformed skink roster that aint
a) just adding some big guy and goin back to roster that they were downgraded from. Skinks are now too fast and we dont really need to add bashing power to speed.
b) make them more like eshin, althought they [b]are{/b] whole different races even now.

ok u raise some good points, the way to make different skinks could be in the latest lizardmen ruleboeok for fantasy. for example using sacred spawnings.

This roster downs the AV and Mv this would bring them more into the stunty idea but maybe this is too much, just some ideas so rip it out of them if wished.

0-1 Skink Cheif 7 3 3 7 pro dodge poisend dagger, stunty
0-1 Skink Chameleon 6 2 3 7 prehensile tail claw
0-2 Skinks of Soteck 7 3 3 6 stunty dodge
0-2 Skinks of Tzunki 7 2 4 6 stunty dodge
0-16 Skinks 7 2 3 6 stunty dodge

How about:

0-1 Gila 90k 8/2/3/7 Dodge, Poisoned Dagger (A)
0-2 Croc 60k 5/3/2/8 Bone Head, Prehensile Tail (G)
0-2 Chelonia 50k 3/3/1/(11) Spikes (S)
0-16 Skink 50k 7/2/3/7 Dodge, Stunty (A)

This maintains the secret weapon (although without Stunty now, so less mobile), reduces the overall MV and cost of the team, adds a little flavor, and adds some much-needed line fodder. Against Big Guy teams they will still have plenty of problems, and the fluff is maintained pretty well.

Right i have flip floped , skinks are rubbish and i feel they should be suspended until we can do something with them as they r useless
They need a bg guy
Really they do it cant go on any longer
They r apauling they need changes now i mean now
can someone who can make changes please look over our ideas and say what they think as they need changes

How is he less mobile now... The secret weapon cancels out stunty anyways as I understand it. Same problem with everyone in the cheaters list, having stunty just hinders them with none of the payback.
