Two questions:
1- If my jumpup/passblock player is prone and a pass takes place in a 3-square range, will I be able to "JumpUp, move, and try the interception"?
2- If my wizard casts a fireball over a bunch of prone players, will the agility roll take place? I mean... If they are prone, they should not be able to dodge the blast!
Thanyou in advance for any answer you can provide. |

2: They are not affected since they roll for injury due to the fall not due to the blast. The blast only knocks them down (it´s in the LRB). |

Jump Up cannot be used in combination with Pass Block. |

Uhm. Is that an error in the JavaBB or the same applies in the board game? In the LRB I can't find why JumpUp can't be used. |

Plz check it up, cause im saying this from memory, but i thought LRB stated that the passing block player had to be standing. Maybe i am wrong and that one is from an official FAQ or just what other players in board game and me accorded, just not sure |

Since Pass block isn´t an action you can´t use Jump Up in combination with it. |

Galak if you are reading I believe your PBEM tool rolls for agility on prone players on a fireball |

Just to expand upon this a bit...
Jump Up can only be used at the start of a player's action. A player's action is when you move, block, blitz, foul, throw or handoff with them on your turn.
Using Pass Block isn't an action. Like sidestep or shadowing, it's just an effect of a skill... a reaction, I guess you could call it. As such, you can't use jump up because it's not that player's action... Not until you move them on your turn. |

Yah ... my source on the BBRC for the 2003 rules review said it would affect prone and then it came out and it didn't.
Never realized I hadn't changed it. Thanks ... putting it on the list.
