I have a very important question on chainsaw usage,
let's see what the manual says:
----------------------------------
pag.31, LRB 4.0 :
...
A player armed with a running chainsaw may never
catch or carry the ball, and must drop the ball if he hasn’t. He
can move normally, however, and attack with the chainsaw
instead of making a block.
...
A player armed with a chainsaw is allowed to use it to attack
other players instead of making a normal block.
...
----------------------------------
Now, here is my simple QUESTION:
May I MOVE and then USE the chainsaw in the same turn, or NOT?
I think not, because it must be "like a normal block".
But the first part of the manual that I reported is not so clear on it (... can move normally, however, and attack with the chainsaw).
If NOT, May I do it as a blitz (in this case, moving and making a "block" is allowed)?
Thanks guys, for any clarification.
Cheers, |

the saw attack replaces a block, so to move before and/or after, you have to declare your Blitz action. |

What Eddy said: The chainsaw attack is a Block, and a Blitz action allows you to make a Block as part of the action, so you may declare a Blitz in order to move and attack with the chainsaw. Happy slicing! |

But I am sure I've seen someone Foul with the saw..
Am I wrong?
Or shouldn't that be allowed? |

That's also in the rules. Chainsaw give +3 to armor rolls when fouling. |

If in doubt about game mechanics, try using the client to set up a single-player game (allowing you to control both teams). |
