Refs in blood bowl are not that different from those in other sports. Some are indulgent towards violent behaviour, some won't let the most insignificant violation of the rules go unpunished. Not even if the player is dead!

at least 5 out of 6 refs will accept bribes to let the dead guy get away with it

i wonder, shouldn't the ref ban the zombie from playing on the other team too?

I also find it fun that it says that "the player was banned in turn 5 for using a Secret Weapon by Spandine", being Spandine a wolf.

It is a nice mix of what happened because he was killed on turn 1 by Spandine and then banned on turn 5 by the ref.

Maybe Spandine IS the ref. That would explain a lot!

If you know the team Spandine is a bastig bigger than most bastigs. He would so play for one team and ban an opposing player duping as the ref. Fluf it is.
