I use a laptop which is a satellite type. I have a wireless router and as such use the laptop downstairs in "wireless" mode.
So here is the concern...recently I noticed that sometimes when I am powering down for the evening, instead of straight to the standard Windows "logging off" screen....a pop up comes up showing that a "DDE Server Window" is closeing down. And I also noticed recently a "Toshiba Pinger" closing down too.
It is not every night...but has been happening more often than not in the last week or so.
Any clues? |

A quick Googlesearch came up with the following information
http://www.auditmypc.com/process/pinger.asp <-- explanation of ur pinger.
As for the DDE, as i recall its a program used to make windows programs communicate. Some program u have running, is communicating with another program. not necesarily anything bad about that. |
