I just had a game, where the ball was lying on the ground in the tackle zone of two players. The opponent tried to GFI to get to the ball but failed.
The ball bounces to a player on my team, he failed to pick it up, then it bounced back to the square with the prone player and stayed there.
I tried to foul the player to see if that would remove him from the square and free the ball, but was unable to foul him (the ball picture, was above the picture of the player, if that makes any difference).
We tried to reload, but then we only saw the icon of the player. I tried a foul again and the player was removed from the field, but then the ball wasn't there at all. No ball icon anywhere on the field.
Unfortunately, because of the reload, there is no log file that records this problem.
