My Blitzer has just rolled up his 4th double
Stavi Pidgi
He has mighty blow , guard and dauntless already from doubles as well as tackle from an ordinary roll .
What would be a good pick for his next skill ?
heres the team

Since he has tackle, frenzy is a bit wasted, but I'd still take it. |

Frenzy looks nice, but I'm not a big fan of frenzy, because it's a skill that is sometimes great, but can get you into trouble on other occasions as well. Good coaches can exploit such a skill to increase chances of a turnover (by marking that frenzy player with a sidestepper, or simply put two guards behind the marking player for example).
Jump up is not realy one of my favourites as well, it always looks awesome, but doesn't come in use that much as you'd think (unless on AG5 leapers or so). It's a skill you only will be using when you are prone, and if you protect this player well enough (as he is your best player currently), he shouldn't be prone that much. Again, good coaches can cancell the maximum use of the jump up skill as well (by keeping two guarders on either side of him he won't be able to throw the free block easily, and will have to dodge out if he wants to use the movement gain, for example)
I'd seriously think about dropping the double and taking dodge (I think it's what I would do in the end). Now he is your main blitzer, but sometimes you will need to reroll your dodge roll if he is marked, where you would like to use the reroll for you dless roll / reroll the block dice. It will make it a bit harder to take him out for your opponents as well. (Yes tackle cancels dodge, which is the downside of it, but I'd still want dodge on a player like that. Just keep him away from the opponent's tacklers and tie your opponent tacklers with spare linemen)
Anyway, whatever skill you take, he's a great player and a massive threath in almost any game. |
