Microchoir
Whatever a choir does on a Bloodbowl field no-one really knows.
Whatever it is it is quite certainly not about excelling at the game.
Category A (Brutal)
Game 1: Khemri: Win 2-1, 3 Casualties --- Game (+10) - Win (+10) - TD difference: 1 (+2) - Cas caused: 3 (+6) = 28*2 = 56
Game 2: Chaos Dwarf: Win 3-2, 2 Casualties --- Game (+10) - Win (+10) - TD difference: 1 (+2) - Cas caused: 2 (+4) = 26*2 = 52
Category B (Strong)
Game 1: Chaos: Loss 2-3, 4 Casualities --- Game +10 - Loss (0) - TD difference: -1 (-2) - Cas caused: 4 (+8) = 16
Game 2: Orc: Win 5-2, 2 Casualities --- Game +10 - Win (+10) - TD difference: 3 (+6) - Cas caused: 2 (+4) - 5+ TD (+5) = 35
Category C (Average)
Game 1: Amazon: Loss 2-3, 4 Casualities --- Game (+10) - Loss (0) - TD difference: -1 (-2) - Cas caused: 4 (+8) = 16
Game 2: Human: Win 2-1, 3 Casualities --- Game (+10) - Win (+10) - TD difference: 1 (+2) - Cas caused: 3 (+6) = 28
--- I only had six players for the game. He didn't have a tackler though (and yet he challenged me, not the other way round). ---
Category D (Elf)
Game 1: Wood Elf: Win 3-1, 2 Casualities --- Game (+10) - Win (+10) - TD difference: 2 (+4) - Cas caused: 2 (+4) = 28
Game 2: Dark Elf: Win 4-3, 1 Casuality --- Game (+10) - Win (+10) - TD difference: 1 (+2) - Cas caused: 1 (+2) = 24
Category E (Odd)
Game 1: Goblin: Win 2-0, 3 Casualities --- Game (+10) - Win (+10) - TD difference: 2 (+4) - Cas caused: 3 (+6) - Shutout Victory (+5) = 35
Game 2: Skaven: Win 3-2, 3 Casualities --- Game (+10) - Win (+10) - TD difference: 1 (+2) - Cas caused: 3 (+6) = 28
Totals:
Cat A: 108
Cat B: 51
Cat C: 44
Cat D: 52
Cat E: 63
Cas caused: 26 (and not one on a foul)
TD difference: +10
Not sure if I played any EMU teams :). Won't go through the work of scoring the other three teams, as they are far from completing the cycle. Next season.

How's this for serendipity? I played my first FUMBBL match on 4/16 and went for the cycle before I ever joined E.L.F. |

Err - so matches played before joining the E.L.F. count? 'cause then that looks different, and I might have a complete cycle, too .

Yeah, I reported my games from before i joined too, just as long as you played them after march the 16th i guess. Because that's the starting date for the current season. |

Hmmm. I don't normally look at the dates of the games reported, so this hadn't caught my eye until reading this. The league page does refer only to "games played during the season" and makes no mention of which games new members are allowed to report...I guess that needs some clarification!
One set of such scores already made it into a standings report without anyone contesting, so lets see what kind of feedback I get from the founder and others before I "lay down the law." |

It seems logical to me that you can report matched played during the season from before you applied for E.L.F. membership. There's is no real difference in the matches themself and also not everybody joins the tournamen when it starts but sometimes a bit later. As for myself i have only recently found out about the ELF but have been playing for quite some time...
The season start and end date provide enough limitations on which games you can report. (oh yeah, and there should be this max TS difference rule, to stop people playing too easy games just to report....) |

Arbitrary Rulings
I plan on clarifying two rules questions after the season regarding which games a team is allowed to report. I’m making no changes “mid-stream” - as I’ve always found this to be less than ideal in leagues I’ve run outside of FUMBBL - and will go with what is implied by the rules.
The first relates to a timing issue, “Are all games played during the season eligible for reporting or only those played after becoming an ‘official’ member (and when are you officially a member)?” The rules as laid out on the league page don’t place any limitations on new teams, so after talking with AFK_Eagle – “I was always just more encouraging of playing non-elves in the first place” – I’ve decided not to either.
Second relates to the +40 Team Strength differential. A couple of coaches have asked whether or not such a limitation is applied to E.L.F. teams playing outside of ranked. Once again, the rules on the league page don’t address this so I’m again not going to make anyone “take back” the games they’ve already reported this season.
I hope to discuss/resolve both these points and more in another thread prior to next season.

Both of those I think I remember that were in the rules before the change... first was yes, as long as you played the matches after aplying, second was allowed to play such matches but not to report them.
...but my memory can fail and there can be some discusion... I supose
any way, clarify the rules and do as you (and the founder) please. |
