5 Stars League, Season 7 will be starting soon!!!
Create your teams and apply for membership at the League page:

After you submit your team, post here so we know who applied first.
For those that don't know, the 5 Stars League is about teams with only 5 players.
Teams have to be official LRB rosters, unranked division. To create a team for this
league, simply create an "Unranked" division team by the normal rules. Once
approved, trim the team down to five players. You are only allowed to have 5
players on your roster upon application!

Those that apply for membership now, will not enter the divisions, They will be put
on a waiting list, and will enter the Asteroid division if a coach retires, or is kicked from
the league. We need ONLY really reliable coaches. If you think that when you enter a
division, you will not be able to complete your games in time, please don't apply for
membership. Be prepered to play most games in european times, because most
coaches are from europe.

Also, to pre-existing coaches... please notice that "It Wasn't Me!" is no longer a banned handicap.
Only Morley's Revenge (if it affects 2 or more players... too unbalancing),
and I AM THE GREATEST (causes a glitch).

Why is "It Wasn't Me!" no longer a banned handicap?
There is a reason it has been removed from most other 4v4/5v5 leagues.
That handicap is simply so unbalanced in this format that it can decide a match all by itself. |

Now, that I realized it's not banned anymore I definately agree. Why is "I am the greatest" banned when ít affects two players, but not "It wasn't me". Both remove one player from the game, on average.
Well, I just got the handicap against my team, and I'll see how it plays out. Do I have a slightest chance even when I have str advantage of +48.

Well, I don't see why "it wasn't be" isn't banned while "I am the greatest" is. |

It isn't so much a case of how many players are removed... as it is a problem with game glitches.
"I am the greatest" can cause the game to glitch. If you get alot of injuries, and only have 3 players
on the bench to field, and 2 of them have "I am the greatest"... then you can't put 3 on the line of
scrimmage. The server does not recognize this, and will not let you proceed. A real pain in the ass
if this happens towards the end of the second half (which it usually does). Hence, this handicapped
is banned.
Removing too many players from a 5v5 match is way too unbalancing, hence the Morley's Revenge
rule. Banned if it effects 2 or more players... that can make a team useless, no matter how good they
are, in a 5v5 format.
However, "It wasn't me" only removes one player from the game. Sure, this can be a hinderance for the
stronger team... but hey, that's what handicaps are for. It's no different than a niggling player missing the
match, or getting a BH early, which happens alot. But those situations aren't banned. |

Okay coaches,
I've given a few days for unplayed round 1 matches.
Tomorrow (Wednesday, Aug 9th) will be the final day for round 1 matches.
At midnight, bb server time, I will hand out forfeits... and then we are back to our
14 day schedule. The new deadlines will be every other wednesday.
See the league page for actual dates.
Note: These deadlines are for Celestial, Cosmos, and Meteorite only.
Asteroid is an open league with no scheduled matches. Play whenever you like,
so long as you only play each team once, and no outside games. So Please...
Asteroid coaches... you do not need to PM me, telling me when you are going to
play your games. I appreciate the effort, but you have until playoffs start to get in
as many league games as you can.
