Would it be possible to have something like gamefinder for the Smack Tournies on the site? I jump into the smack channel quite a bit but it's always difficult to see who is ready for what tournaments. |

Could the whole process be automated?
Have a queue for each level - if a coach is idle or starts a match within 30 minutes they are dropped from the list. If it hits 8 or more, the coaches get a PM asking them to say "aye" and when 8 respond a tourney is created and begins.
I've no idea how difficult that would be to program, but it may (or may not...) make the admins life a bit easier. |
