Opening match of the Fluff Cup took place as the brutal Ogre team "Regicide" visited the red hot "Fluffy Kittens are More", winners of the last Agile Cup.
The local police... responding to a random tip arrested one of the dirty Kittens and a niggling injury took out another leaving the fluffy ones with only two DPs......
Those DPs did their task well early as a pair of blocking Ogres (one with MA 7) were escorted off the field coughing up blood.
A swift punch down the sideline.... followed by a recovery from a failed TTM sealed the deal early. A late game push by the Ogres was rewarded with a dead gobbo and another Kitten TD!

The game basically played out with my norse largely ignoring the ball for the start of the half and attempting to remove the black orcs from the field that had got isolated. The rest of the orc team played loose cage thro the middle and i continued to ignore them.
Thus lulled into a false sense of security i then doubled back, put threats on the ball carrier and set about fouling other important orcs. Gary didnt feel in a good position to continue a stall and scored.
My norse did have a chance to score in reply but 'fluffed' it
Second half was even more carnage with random blocks taking orc off the field (bit lucky heh)
A goblin then went after the ball which was loose, failed to get it... then i actually said in chat hes going to die for that.... and he did indeed get RIP'd that turn lol. My condolences to Rijssiej's family.
SI'd the other goblin (With a foul i beleive) to prevent TTM on my way to the endzone for an easy draw in the end.
Didnt expect to survive this match to be honest with such a bashin mismatch but my dirty Macc Lads did me proud  |

Sorry about the early start guys. I didn't realize a few people wanted to get a few games in before hand. It's one of my favorite DTL tourneys so I got a little excited. Anyway, it's off to a good start so far. My FN Givers pulled of a very difficult win in the first round. They will be lucky to get another. Good game though. A nail biter. |

Is this finished now? If not could we have a little more information on where we are at since i am under the impression only 5 of the 11 rounds are to be played. I want to know if my norse are eligable for new tournys or not.
My 5th game would of been with PeteW's team but they are retired.
Also details on how points are scored in future DTL tournaments of this format would be cool.
