Ok this sounds really crazy. I might give it a try. Only question is whether an elf or a stunty team would be better.
And how can you score points for Cas when you´re not allowed to block or blitz? |

How do you get the ball off the other player? |

You don't.
That's why this group was an April Fool's joke.
However, I think it might be an interesting experiment with some additional rules that give you a chance to get the ball... |

How about, the ball must be transfered from one player to another each turn. This must be the FIRST action you do. You are allowed to move before a pass, but only the player with the ball.

Hmmm... That could work. You could still swarm your players around the ball and just pass it back and forth between two players. But I think that works better than what I'd thought of - it's simpler, too. |

Yeah, Khemri wouldn't be too good at this. =)
Ok, I'll amend the Group page to add Kemi's "move the ball every turn" rule, and make a team of Skaven (just to be random) and face all challengers!
Open play format - no tournament. But no playing teams outside the Group! |

Well, my Skaven just got their rear ends handed to them by Runefang's Fairies, 4-1.
Stunty is hugely powerful, since you can dodge in next to the ballcarrier and essentially force a turnover... And dodge free to the endzone for the score. Hypno is, as expected, also brutally powerful.
We also discovered a few flaws in the "ball-first" rule, so I'm going to reword it on the group page.
Suggestions for how to balance Stunty are welcome... I'm thinking maybe force passes instead of hand-offs with ball-first? That way they always take the -1 penalty on the pass? Along with forcing the pass before any TD can be scored, that would penalize Stunty, and encourage LRB teams with throwers. Interestingly, the only team with dedicated throwers and Stunty players is Orcs... Which would certainly be interesting here.
In any event, to clarify for Bonehead, etc., and to cover Touchbacks and TOuchdowns, here's version 0.2a of Rule 5:
If your opponent's previous turn ends with the ball in your posession, your first action must be with the player who has the ball. If that player is capable of taking an action (i.e. does not fail a Bonehead/RS/WA roll), then that player's move must end with a pass attempt, hand-off, turnover, or touchdown. (Note that if the player fails OFAB, the turn is required to end in a touchdown, or a turnover via failed dodge or ending not adjacent to a thrall.)
I'll try a few more games like this before either giving up entirely or amending the rule again. |

Why not simply ban players with the stunty skill?
But that was part of the idea perhaps, not baning anything? |

Banning Stunty players leaves very few viable teams left... Very, very few. |
