At one minute past Midnight (bb time) on August 1st, 2007 (just an hour from the time I write this) ELF Season XIV will kick off! Greetings to all the new coaches and welcome back all you veterans!

You do not have to use this dedicated scoring thread. We will use the Automated Scoring Program to compile all the scores. For all those who have not seen/read the information, I present it again here:
| Quote: | The E.L.F. uses a Java program to collect all the scoring information for the league. Each individual team's matches are reviewed and a score is tallied for each team and the overall league standings are compiled. You are encouraged to keep track of your scores and progress towards completing the cycle in your team's bio, but this is not a requirement.
Once a week during the season scores are updated here on the league page, a summary is sent out as a group message, and another summary is posted in the threads. The league leaders are featured along with those teams that have completed the cycle.
Special challenges for a featured race are also updated in these same summaries from each teams highest scoring games in the regular standings. The program will always chooses the match that gives the most special challenge points when a team has two or more to choose from with the same E.L.F. score.
If you ever have questions about what matches are being scored or see a discrepancy in the points, please feels free to PM Pizzamogul with your concerns. A program can be run to generate an individual team's record of scored matches! |
So, you can still keep track of your scores here is you want or in your team bio if you choose.
