I would put some money on my skinks at 500-1.
I mean, really! Sure, we are the worst race left in the tournament, but I don't find it hard to imagine us getting lucky and beating 10 elves. I'm not even sure I have to be lucky - we might win a best of 3 against them. I think we're 50-50.
The orcs we would likely have to face after that might be harder, but we only have to get lucky once to win that one. I would expect to win it once in a while, say one game in three or so.
After that a match against, in my opinion, a norse team that has just played a khemri team, which might be unwinnable. On the other hand, it might be a match against a khemri team that has just played a norse team; and khemri are slow and sometimes fail to pick up the ball. Skinks can beat slow. I think I'd be the favorite to win that one. Even if it's the norse, I might manage to beat a team with 7 players if the khemri can do their job.
So I would give me a decent chance, say 1 in 15 or so, of getting to the final.
At which point all I would need to have a chance is to not play a dwarf team. |
