<i>"Welcome to what's possibly the biggest tournament ever to be witnessed on the face ot the Old World!!!"</i>
<img src="http://fumbbl.com/teams/16466.jpg"></img>
<i>Welcome to <b>Destiny Bowl</b>, the tournament that will eventually lead to the resolve of good and evil... who shall conquer whom and will there be peace, or shall the chaos wastes spread all over the continent...</i>
The idea of the tournament is to gather 80 coaches together playing on the side of good and avil (40 good and 40 evil coaches)The Tournament shall be started in a week and any team that has joined before that date shall start a open round robin contest against teams of the same alignment(at first... you get to beat each other when the time comes). The teams should be rather fluffy, because this tournament is to be set in the <b>Old World</b> of the <b>Warhammer Universe</b>.
The Destiny Bowl Group
This is the official thread and you are welcome to :
1) Boast with your team
2) Challenge teams
3) Make funny remarks on the happenings of the tournament
4) Ask questions
5) Post Obituaries
...and actually anything you find amusing enough to share with the people in the tournament
I welcome you all and advice you to have fun... that is why we are here !!!

First Question: is it possible to have TWO teams on the same side, so long as one is a Stunty side? I'm conflicted, you see...
On one hand I think it'd be fun to play Gnomes, but OTOH i don't want to let the Side of Justice down by using a crap team.
Furthermore, I don't know if anyone WILL exclusively play (for example) Gnomes apart from me, and surely diversity in team races present is good?
Whaddya reckon?

We've gotten into a really good start, with 33 teams already in the roster after 12 hours of Destiny Bowl going public
19 chaos teams / 14 good teams
Still plenty of room on both sides and 6 days left to be part of an epic struggle...
<b>Covertfun</b> : You can play Gnomes if you want to... There are already few stunty teams joined and as I said all races are welcome. But you playing two teams is at this moment a no no. Only one team per coach. |

In less than 24 hours, the group has grown to a majestic 46 coaches already
23 chaos teams / 23 good teams
... so it may be added that there are still 17 places available on each side... JOIN NOW! |

I have applied with Takiyah Ona - my favourite style of Amazon team, since i decided Amazons work with a pseudo African cultural flavour. It'll take me a little while to do all the bios, since the names on the team all have meanings from various African languages. But I shall certainly do them, and hopefully help out the forces of Justice in the coming games!
Surtur: thanks, man... I just wanted to know, because Gnomes will just get bashed every match, and I didn't want to hurt whatever team i was on in the league
maybe if the Justicars start absolutely walking over the Chaotics, someone will have the luxury of starting a Gnome team, but I love my zons
Soon i will officially boast about them, but until they've played a few matches, who knows how many players I'll get through? |

Uh... I'm 70% sure that Khemri are not evil. Tomb Kings? Legendary warriors raised from the dead to protect the living... I haven't read the fluff myself by a reliable source tells me they would be on the good side of this battle |

nope, norse are chaotic, at least in the WH world. and Tomb kings: would the good citizens of the old world care about the ancestry of undead legions? they're obviously evil: look, that one has bits of flesh hanging off him! burn the lot of them i say... |

Hi! should we play the trainig games BEFORE the start of the tournament...or should be wait till it starts?
It would be cool if we could play the games now against the same allignment, their wouldnt be such long waiting time |

I guess I could be wrong about the norse... but it's raising the dead that makes a person evil, not being raised... Khemri are good. and skeletons don't traditionally have any flesh hanging off. |

Khemri are supposed to be good, since they were cursed by a Necromancer to never die... Nagash was his name...

Don't play any games before the tourney has officially started. This will happen within a week OR if 80 coaches (40 for each side) have joined. The there will be a open round robin - good vs. good, evil vs. evil. After some time the top teams of either side battle it out.
So - don't play until the tourney started!

YES
If I am not around Mnemon and InkRose are the men to be asked about the things in the tournament.
REPORTS COMING IN :
61 teams joined in 24 hours
26 of them are good / 35 evil = 14 spots open with the good side and 5 on the chaos side...
Keep you teams rolling in |

If Khemri are considered Good, perhaps the Ogres can be switched over to Chaos.
And since Norse linemen are also used as Chaos Marauders, perhaps the Norse team can just fill the role of the Southerlings - angry humans who are tempted by trying to be on the winning side.
This is a way of looking at Surtur's existing divisions
Of course, if Surtur WANTS to make the side of Justice have Khemri AND Ogres, my amazons are fine with that, too. |
