When my RO got his first skill, no double rolled, he didn´t have the option of taking Block. I didn´t think much about this and chose Guard, but then I discovered that the skill most often taken for RO´s are Block??????
Did I do something or did I encounter a bug? |

Big Guys no longer have access to general skills. Check the LRB Rules Rewiev 2004. |

makes access to physical much less tempting on Rat ogres and Mino's. Gonna be far fewer killer big guys about from now on |

Most of those Rat Ogres you see with the Block skill got it before the new rules were implemented. You'll just have to wait and get lucky with a double roll to get it now. =) |

Thanx for the quick replies everyone, preciate it. Will tjeck up on the rulebook asap.
I think it´s a good rule, though it saddens me he will keep going down that easy..... |

Yeah but look at it this way... No more frenzy for ogres, trolls, krox or treemen. Makes the AG drop a little more palateable for the poor ROs.
Also, this won't be in the rulebook yet. The Blood Bowl Rules Committee (BBRC) made these changes in the annual Rules Review. They typically release a new version of the LRB shortly afterwards. They haven't released it yet, however.
