Hi,
I'm fairly inexperienced with FUMBBL, so sorry if this is a stupid question. But basically I have a friend that I would like to be able to play regularly. However I can't work out how to do it.
I've tried having a group with the two of us in, then setting up a tournament with just the two of us in, but that isn't possible. Obviously I'm not expecting the games to count towards our rankings, but there must be a way to play the same opponent more than once in every 10 games or whatever the limit is.
Thanks in advance for any help.

League is the answer here. If you both create a L team, you can play eachother as often as you wish, and even incorporate more teams/tournaments. |

We've tried that, but we couldn't see each other when using Game Finder. We can see other opponents fine... |

Make teams in league, you can play each other as much as you want there.
Just start a game with the play button and enter a gamename. |

Also if the teams are scheduled in a tournament you wont be able to use them until the tournament is over. |

Decide on a game name.
Tell your friend.
Click on the 'play' link by your team's name on your overview page.
Start a new game. Both of you enter the same game name.
(The game name is case sensitive)
The teams do not need to be in a tournament for this to work.
But if one is in a tournament then they both need to be in the same tournament. |

Ok so I cancelled the tournament but we still couldn't see each other on game finder. Did manage to get a game by pressing Play and entering the same game name though, so thank you both for that feel free to close this thread. |

While the Game Finder ~can~ work for League teams, it's almost(?) "never" used for such.
Use a shared gamename (think of it like a "password"), and you'll be fine from here out. Glad it's working for you, welcome to both to FUMBBL. |

Do you have any evidence for "almost never"?
How about "it's very quiet compared to ranked".
Personally I've found more games on the [L]eague gamefinder than the [R]anked one. Though that is a tiny number.
I chucked some teams on yesterday to test your theory and it offered me a match immediately. |

+1
You don't need the game finder to play with a friend with two League teams |
