What do you figure is the better use for doubles on an undead ghoul? You figure you take +st or +ma over the doubles anyway. I figure I would lean to giving the ghoul MB and giving guard instead of MB to a wight in that case as the av8 regen will be better at absorbing blows than av7 dodge no regen (also it is only 6spp to replace a guard wight).
Granted I don't put guard on either wight till 31 spp if I don't have a mb ghoul. |

I prefer to take Guard on Ghoul and use him either to protect the Ghoul ball carrier or use him as ball carrier (the Ghoul with more MA/AG is the ball carrier).
That way when the cage is attacked the Guard ball carrier will always be able to help the team mates.
Also, a Ghoul with Guard is nice because he can keep the pace of the Ghoul ball carrier and escort him. |

if both wights have guard I might choose MB. Otherwise, guard, as mentioned above, seems ok.
It also depends, how many skills, MB helps in levelling up too. if the ghould has block, side step, surehands, then guard for sure.
I sometimes like to have a ghoul who can pass. Accurate, safe throw,... depends if you ever pass. Guard is usefull if your ghoul is next to the enemy, where the AV7 and no regen is a liability. a surehand accurate staying in the back in offence force the adversary to split his defense. (but less use in defense) |
