I was watching a Sage stream on YouTube and he said that vampires could use hypnotic gaze while prone.
Surely he misspoke... any thoughts if Fumbbl allows this. |

I think he is wrong. Maybe he thinks he is cleverly abusing badly written rules, but I think they are fine.
You use HG at the end of a Move action. If you are prone, then when you start a Move action, you have to stand up first as part of it. |

It works that way in BB2, yes.
But it's not supposed to.
Also, no way to bite from the ground, so automatic turnover when bloodlusted. |

That sounds like a bug in Cyanide BB2, as it is meant to be used at the end of a move action. So he should at least have to stand up. But maybe a Vamp player has seen this.. |

Hypnotic gaze happens at the end of a move action, and I don't think you can end a move action and be prone. You can start prone though.
The Custard Pie special play card, which behaves similarly to hypnotic gaze, can be used by a prone (but not stunned) player. |
