Hard work! first three games were versus Human/Underworld/Underworld and these were tough matches, rookie Zons feel a bit underpowered.
Dead blocker set us back first game, but bought back now. Team has a few Block players now so reliability is improved.
Most recent match v's Imperial Nobles I felt Zons had the team advantage. Though a lot of that was down to the Ogre having a terrible game for the Nobs.
I don't really agree with neuro_ I think skills are more important for the Blockers, I will aim for BlodgeFirmGuard. They won't get endless SPP as they are not my ball carriers.
The Blitzers are good players as MV7 Jump Up increases your overall team speed a useful amount. They are the natural ball carriers. |

On the frenzy point doesn't it seem like the combination of frenzy with hit and run should not be allowed? It doesn't make sense thematically. |

Well it could thematically - but only if hit and run happens after the second hit. Player goes in frenzy then cools down mentally and remembers the plan after. |

How do they lend assists, move tactically but not block, dodge, pick up / catch balls, pass, or score touchdowns then? |

Good point they should be banned from all that too!
Hit and run does seem a bit much though when they are rabidly in the midst of their blocks. |

Emailed in for the FAQ. I think Hit and Run should occur only after the second block but not sure I know where the rules are to back that up. |

If its an extra free square, it means they're MV8 on the blitz.. ? that's massive
So they could get +MV +MV = MV9, and then Hit n Run + Rush + Rush + Sprint = natural one turner?
It also pairs well with Frenzy, means they're not likely to get counter-surfed, and gives them more reach to avoid needing Rushes |

So I tested out trying to 1-turn score in test mode, playing my own teams against each other, so there's no replay available unfortunately

There's a goblin behind the LOS, although I get a pow in the blitz, the target gets put into an awkard spot, so Hit N Run bounces me backwards to the only valid square. Observe my visible confusion

I've moved the goblin from behind the LOS, so now I only get a push in the blitz but it doesn't matter, I can use Hit N Run to progress forward
All the inducements I've added in test mode mean there's Moles Under The Pitch, but observe my visible confusion checking the weather to see why it's 3+ for the rushes

Blitzer runs straight up to a goblin, gets a pow, but without a removal it means Hit N Run sends me backwards

Is marking defined in the rule book? I'm assuming that it means standing next to an opposing player, whether they are on the ground or not. |

Yep, exactly
The blitzer marks a goblin she's just knocked down, and can't Hit N Run to a square where she'll be marked OR mark an opponent
So this is what makes it hard to get through a screen
If they're STR3 then you're only gonna have 1 dice
If there's 11 or more available players, they can screen the full width, edge to edge, and so you need a removal
If there's 10 or less, you just need a push though.
The way Hit N Run is implemented in the client means you click 'Yes' to it, and then find out what squares you're allowed to move into
If there's only 1 valid square, it automatically moves you there. It surprised me, and I think it may catch some people out. I'm glad it's in though |
